never afraid of the darkness
death was a friend
a malevolent dream
a unholy inspiration
at night
the faint streetlight can barely
highlight a deathly pale face
with unbridled terror flashing in eyes
the darkness can hide the bitter tears
the day can only flash the happiness of others-
the happiness never to be lived or experienced
when death comes it
stalks. overpowers. consumes.
some choose to fight it with their 'will to live'
others welcome it with a open tormented heart
succumbing to the immoral Force
that will take their breath and life
the color leaves the face, and drains into
hollow white
blood runs cold.
unsteady legs tremble and fall
body gives away, and Falls.
a numb sadistic heart slows, and eventually
is held still in the palm of death
pained eyes that have seen horrors
close
never to open again
a cold diabolical mind thinks a last conscious thought
and fades into the darkness.
